About Maria

Maria Funicello has always had a love for jewelry. She can remember being enthralled by her grandmothers’ and mother’s jewelry as a child and now appreciates the design and craftsmanship of jewelry from that time.

“I still gain design inspiration from that jewelry and the wonderful engineering makes me want to craft my jewelry as well as possible.”

Maria has been silversmithing for 7 years and continues to take classes regularly to learn a variety of techniques. She lives in Gilbert, Arizona and gets color inspiration from the mountains and surround desert, especially at sunset.
